Superb debut for DARK DOG at Moto GP 2010:

Young French rider Jules Cluzel gains fantastic third place
in Moto2 in Qatar

Losail, Qatar: DARK DOG officially started last weekend together with Italian-based Team Forward Racing into the brand-new intermediate class of the Moto GP World Championship - Moto2! The French rider Jules Cluzel finished the first race of this years' series, taking place in Qatar, with a sensational third place!

The 62th World Championship of motorcycling and the first competition of Moto2 were a successful one for the DARK DOG rider Jules Cluzel who showed his maturity, strength and his spirit dictating the pace for the most part of the race in Qatar. He showed that he surely will be a leading character during the season 2010.

His team mate Claudio Corti, the surprise of the winter tests, was having some trouble to find the right set-up on the Qatar track and finished the race on position 20. But it is better if we won't get used to see him on the bottom of the time sheet because he is fast and early he will demonstrate it.

DARK DOG is happy about having seen one of its sponsored riders on the podium during the first race of the Moto2 and is looking forward to the next race taking place in Japan in two weeks!

Jules Cluzel

"Obviously I'm very happy! It's perfect to start the championship with a podium. Last year I started in the same way, but afterwards I did some mistakes during the season. I think this experience helped me a lot to mature. I know that the championship is long and we are 40 riders, so it's really important to make points every race and as less mistakes as possible. During the race, I pushed myself to the limit, I tried to do my best to follow Tomizawa, the winner of the race, but after crashing nearly for three times I realised that it would be better to finish in third position. I'm very happy and satisfied with the work of my team, I feel comfortable on the bike and I'll do my best to continue in the same way in Japan in two weeks."
