"It has been a difficult weekend. I wanted to make a particularly good race here at home, but the eleventh place was the maximum I could achieve today. I did not start very well and during the first laps I risked a lot to recover some positions. Once arrived at the head of the group I tried to lower the gap to Corsi, but unfortunately my rear tire began to slip noticeably, so I decided to slow down a little bit as I did not want to risk another crash. Now we have to work principally to improve my feeling with the bike when the tire is used, but I'm confident that already in Barcelona we will be back between the fastest. "

"Today's race was the demonstration of the importance of a good position in grid. I actually had a fast rhythm and I felt comfortable with the bike, but starting from the ninth row does not make things easy. Anyway, I managed from the beginning on to pass one rider after the other and I was slowly getting closer to the points when I crashed out in the eleventh lap. It's really a shame because we were so close and I could definitely end up in the Top15 taking home some points. Now I'm looking forward to Barcelona as it is a second home race for me because I spend a lot of time there with my girlfriend."
